How to

Anyone have a link to a tut on how to do the sigs like Rom does.. Where the main render is larger than the rest of the sig.. Like his Gun one.. Or Dark's latest 1..?

Well, just have the background image or border, inside a gimp window larger than it, and big enough to hold the render. Make sure the BG is in a window with the layer deleted, then stick the render on it, and the part outside of the BG should still be transparent. Hope that helps, I'm not real good @ explaining things...

make your bg and all that and copy all visible, make a new image(if its 400x200 the make it 400x400) and paste your old sig and drag it tto the bottom, add your render and BAM!

You also have to make sure the sig has no background, then do what Strong said.
